Zuck Riparian Preserve Access

Zuck Riparian Preserve and River Access was purchased with grants from the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District Partners in Watershed Management, Knox County Foundation, Richard and Arlene Landers Foundation and funds from the Knox County Park District.
This river access is impressive due to the incredible steep corridor of Eastern Hemlock and Sycamore trees on the bottom with Oak and Hickory trees surrounded the top. This is a very popular stretch of the Kokosing to view bald eagles as they nest within a couple of miles. It is also a popular location for the endangered species – the Eastern Hellbender and Spotted Darters. The site features a picnic table and a small gravel parking lot.
