Winter Hike
Saturday, February 9, 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Honey Run Highlands Park, 10816 Millersburg Rd. (U.S. 62). The park entrance is south of Millwood, near the Caves Rd. intersection with U.S. 62. Follow the driveway to the residence at the bottom of the hill.
Come join the Park District for a Winter Hike at Honey Run Highlands Park. Winter is a beautiful season to enjoy the outdoors and what better way to do it than to visit one of our parks? There is so much to observe and explore during the winter season, you won’t want to miss this guided experience! The winter hike begins promptly at 1:00 pm at the Honey Run
Highlands residence. The residence is located at the end of a long driveway. This hike is moderately difficult. After the hike, participants will be treated to a bonfire and munchies. Attendees should dress for the weather conditions and wear appropriate footwear, suitable for snowy or muddy trails.
