Join the Knox County Park District as we host a fall wagon ride on the Mohican Valley Trail at the Bridge of Dreams. This event is sure to be well attended as who doesn’t enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride at one of the most picturesque areas in the county? Local vendors will provide fall handcrafted and baked goods for sale or display as you wait to board the wagon. The Bridge of Dreams is a 370-foot covered bridge located near Brinkhaven, Ohio. Originally built in the 1920s as a railroad bridge, and covered in 1998. It is the third longest covered bridge in Ohio.

The wagon ride will be on the Mohican Valley Trail but will NOT be going through the Bridge of Dreams, however the Bridge of Dreams is within walking distance for you to enjoy. Seats are now available but payment will be made the day of the event at $5.00 per person (you must present your registration form sent via email to board). Your registration guarantees you a ride based on the time frame you registered for (you may not change the time), please view the options available Children 5 and under are free providing they will occupy an adult’s lap. Wagon rides will be 10-15 minutes in length. Due to limited parking, a shuttle will be provided from the Brinkhaven Park to the location.  There is limited handicap accessible parking at the venue, however the wagon ride itself is not handicap accessible. 

If inclement weather the event will be cancelled. Registration is REQUIRED for the event and is limited to the first 105 people due to limited seating. If you would like to be on a waiting list if there are cancellations please let us know, email katiehux@co.knox.oh.us  A detailed email will be sent a week prior to the event to give you information on parking.
